Furnace Certification

Furnace Certification process:

We perform a combustion analysis crack test as described here at Bacarach, INC. Bacharach is a leading manufacturer of Heating and Cooling test equipment.

We also perform a methane tracer gas test as per the AGA recommended test method. Here is a link to the original test document www.aga.org.

We also inspect the heat exchanger visually for any cracks or excessive wear.

Of course a certification is more than just the heat exchanger check but that is the most controversial portion of the furnace certification. We will also perform a full safety check on the furnace. Pressure switch, limit cutoffs, etc will be checked for proper operation.

Realtors:

Hot 'n' Cold will perform those furnace certifications when and where you need them. We are licensed and insured. Furnaces don't automatically fail just because they are a few years old.

Buyers

You can be assured that we will do an honest thorough examination and will certify that furnace if possible. Hot 'n' Cold will not fail your furnace just to get a new furnace installation out of it.
